1/72 BAe Hawk T1 from the Italeri kit. Airwaves PE details, my own decals. 1/72 Sukhoi Su-34 from the Italeri kit. Neomega resin cockpit and Eduard PE details. 1/144 Mistel made up from the eduard Bf109F and the Academy Ju88. All struts scratchbuilt, hand-painted squiggle camouflage. 1/72 Mitsubishi Mu-2S from the Hasegawa kit. Custom decals. 1/72 A6M2 Zero from the Hasegawa kit- the old one. All rivets removed and custom markings, otherwise OOB. 1/72 Eurofighter from the Italeri kit. OOB 2-seater variant with the addition of resin seats. 1/72 Sopwith Pup from the Airfix kit. Blue Rider Armistice decals. Rigged with stretched sprue. 1/72 Cierva/Avro autogiro built using an Airfix Avro 504 fuselage and resin flying surfaces; everything else scratchbuilt, custom decals. 1/72 Supermarine Swift. The old 1954 Hawk kit, built with minimal detailing, just a couple of minor accurising mods. Purely intended as a desktop display model. |
1/72 Saab 105 from the Marivox kit. Probably the most difficult kit I've ever had to build, hard to believe the designers of the kit ever test fitted one!
1/72 DH Hornet, built as a desktop display model from the old FROG kit. Panel lines were re-scribed and new decals made to replace the aged kit items, otherwise a straight out ofthe box project. 1/72 Saab J-21. The old Heller kit, re-scribed and new decals. 1/72 Breguet Br.27 French eccentricity from the Azur kit. Straight from the box, a thoroughly enjoyable build :-) 1/72 Heinkel He70. Another desktop 'in-flight' model from the excellent Matchbox kit. Panel lines were re-scribed, new windows and decals made and a minimum of additional cockpit detailing added (none of which can be seen beyond the pilot figure!) 1/72 Hotspur Glider, another old FROG kit which went together surprisngly well. Once again I made new decals as the kit's sheet was old and unusable. 1/72 Caudron C.635 Heller's kit built out-of-box except for new decals which I made. 1/72 'Southern Cross' Frog's Fokker FVII with additional detailing, new canopy, re-scribing and decals. 1/72 Scottish Aviation Bulldog from the 70's Airfix kit. OOB except for home made Swedish markings. |
1/72 Frog Bristol 138 A rarely seen model, this is a re-box by 'Air Lines'. I re-scribed the kit, replaced the wheels and made new decals.
1/72 Fujimi Laura A straight OOB build of this WW2 Japanese Seaplane, weathered using silver enamel paint and a silver pencil. 1/72 Hasegawa F4F-3 Wildcat. Minutes after finishing this model I realised I'd totally screwed up and forgotten to erase the wing-fold and change the gun configuration! 1/72 U-2R by Special Hobby. One of their older kits updated with new resin parts. Although the kit had recessed panel lines I obliterated most of them with sanding so re-scribed the whole aircraft. Wing-span is over 16" in 1/72. 1/72 Bell X-1 Tamiya's kit, originally issued by Hobby-Spot-U. The only replacement parts I made were the various booms/ aerials on the wings. 1/72 Northrop Gamma from the Williams Bros. kit. Re-scribed, cockpit detail added, new canopy and replacement decals made for the kit sheet which shattered in water! 1/72 Me 209V-1 Huma's tiny kit of the record-breaking Messerschmitt. |
1/72 T-34/85 Lovely little Dragon kit, even includes photo-etch and metal tow-cables. Pretty much OOB except for drilling out the road wheels and replacing the grab handles.
1/72 Hawker Hunter F.6 built (almost) out-of-the-box from Revell's kit. |
